YOGA
Yoga Camps were organized under the guidance of Vivekanand Kendra Trainer.
CLEAN INDIA
- Dustbins were installed at Rail Udhyan, near Raja Cycle, and its nearby areas, and people were requested to keep the city clean. The club members cleaned the Rail Udhyan, removed weeds growing in the garden, painted fencing, and spread the message for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
- A camp was organized by the club for cleanliness of public places and to remove unwanted grass and garbage.
JEEV DAYA
- 20 trolleys of green fodder and 1 trolley of dry fodder with medicated laddu, lapsi, and green vegetables were given to various Gaushalas for cows.
- Toast and biscuits were given to street dogs of Kundan Nagar, Paltan Bazar, and Mall Road.
- 2000 earthen feed water pots for birds were distributed to the general public all over Ajmer City to save the lives of birds during the peak hot summer season.
PLANTATION
- 3000 plants were planted at Sita Ram ji ki Bagichi, Shamshan Sthal, Paharganj, Vaishali Nagar, Kalyanipura Road, Rail Udhyan, and Raja Cycle Chauraha.
- 100 plants of Tulsi and Giloy were distributed to the people.
- 7 plants of Ashok and Neem with tree guards were planted at Rail Udhyan on the birthday of Lion Sanjay Bhandari MCC.
- Medicinal plants like Tulsi, Giloy, Kachnar, Bilvapatra, Ashwagandha, etc., were planted for developing a Herbal Garden at Mook Badhir Drashtibadhit Apana Ghar Ashram School, Kotra, Ajmer.
- Tulsi and herbal plants were distributed to people for plantation at their homes on the birthday of Lion Vandana Goyal.
HUNGER RELIEF
- 100 Food packets distributed to needy under Hunger Relief.
- 100 packets of Sweets, Biscuits, Snakes, fruit distributed to deaf, dumb, visually impaired children residing at Apana Ghar Ashram.
- 120 packets of Rajasthani food (Dal Bati Churma) distributed to deaf, dumb, visually impaired children residing at Apana Ghar Ashram.
- 100 Food packets distributed at Lohar Basti near Naka Madar.
- 200 Food packets distributed at Lohar Basti near Naka Madar on the birthday of Lion Sanjay Bhandari, MCC.
- 100 packets of Sweets, Biscuits, Snakes, fruit distributed to deaf, dumb, visually impaired children residing at Apana Ghar Ashram on the occasion of the birthday of (granddaughter-in-law) Dohiti of Lion Jaswant Mehta.
- 90 packets of Sweets, Biscuits, Snakes, fruit distributed to deaf, dumb, visually impaired children residing at Apana Ghar Ashram on the occasion of Independence Day & Rakhi Utsav.
- 100 Kg. rice was given to Apana Ghar, Lohagal on the occasion of the birthday of Lion Dilip Toshniwal, District Governor, District 3233 E 2.
- Distributed Fruits to around 175 families of Jhuggi Jhonpari road side Naka Madar, Nehru Nagar.
- On the eve of Navratri Festival, the club distributed 851 food packets to Goddess-like girls of all the slum areas of Ajmer City.
- On Deepawali festival, 500 packets of Annakut (Mixed food with vegetables) were distributed in slum areas.
- Food provided to Drashti Badhit School Ladli Ghar on the occasion of the birthday of lion member N.K. Gupta.
- 200 food packets were distributed by 5 members of the club on their birthday.
- Lion Dinesh Sinha on his birthday donated Rs. 2000/- to visually impaired school Ladali Ghar for hunger relief.
- Lion Mahesh Kumar Gupta provided 150 food packets with sweets at Anand Kutir Ashram, Panch Kund, Pushkar.
RLLI Training
4 Members Lion Chetana Upadhyay, Lion Anil Upadhyay, Lion Vandana Goyal, including Lion Ajay Goyal (President), participated in RLLI.
Service as per need
1 Cooler and 2 Fans were provided to the needy on the eve of Installation Ceremony. 100 Steel Glasses were given to Mook Badhir Vimandit Vidyalay.
Aid to School Students
- 12 School bags with 500 copies and books were given on Installation Day.
- Toys and Biscuits packets were distributed to the students of Ramayan Mandal School.
- 30 Uniforms were distributed to the students of Ramayan Mandal School.
- Stationary items viz. Copies, pencil, eraser, etc. were distributed to 115 students of Ramayan Mandal School.
- Distributed school dress sweaters and toys to the students of Vedic Vidhyalaya, Parbatpura, Ajmer.
- Distributed school dress sweaters, stationary items, fruits, etc. to all the 360 girl students of Govt. School, village Jethana.
- Lion Neeta Agrawal gave a sum of Rs. 5000/- to a needy student who has been selected in MBBS for purchasing books.
- School Uniform shoes were given to visually impaired girl students of Ladli Ghar.
- 120 woolen sweaters were distributed to Govt. Middle School, Ramayan Mandal, Ajmer.
- 70 woolen sweaters were distributed to girl students of Govt. Girls School, village Narwar.
- On the occasion of International Girl Child Day, a fee of Rs. 3600/- of one of the visually impaired students at Ladli Ghar.
- Club member Lion Mahesh- Vimala Somani celebrated their 42nd marriage ceremony at the visually impaired school Ladli Ghar and donated blankets, fruits, sweets, etc. to all the students.
Women Empowerment
The club provided sewing machines to needy women to start their own job and earn.
Diabetes & Health Checkup Camps
- 15 Blood Sugar and general health checkup camps were organized at Rail Udhyan, Ajmer, benefiting around 2000 people.
- A dental checkup camp was organized at Chandrvardai Nagar, benefiting 150 people. Dr. Lakshy Goyal provided his services.
Sanskar Nirman
- A Camp was organized at Maa Sharda Jeevan Jyoti Public School for Sanskar Nirman. More than 40 students with teachers participated.
- A camp for educating the students for Sanskar in Vedic Vidyalay, Parbatpura, Ajmer, was organized. More than 250 students participated.
- On 21st Dec., another Sanskar Nirman Camp was organized in Govt. Sr. Sec. School, where the girl students from class VIth to 11th participated. These students were taught to be aware of the disadvantages of social media and how to respect elders and behave with others.
- A camp of Sanskar Nirman was organized by the club at Dynasty Apartments, Kotra. The keynote speaker was Lion Dr. Chetana Upadhyay. Around 300 persons attended the camp.
PROGRAMMES
- World Population Day was celebrated, and newly married couples were educated about the demerits of population explosion.
- Ganesh Chaturthi Parva was celebrated with Mook Vimandit Children of Aavasiya Vidhyalay, Kotra, Ajmer, were celebrated during Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
- 112 flags were distributed to the children of Aavasiya Vidhyalay, Kotra, Ajmer. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was also celebrated with the students of Ramayan Mandal School.
- Celebrated Lahariya Utsav by Club Ladies.
- Celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and Independence Day at Rail Udhyan.
- Flag Hosting done at Maa Sharda Jeevan Jyoti School by Lion Ajay Goyal, President of the club, and distributed sweets, biscuit packets, fruits to the students.
- Celebrated Navratri & Dashehera festival at Nandini Palace.
Service as per need:
- Distributed clothes, blankets, sarees to 150 persons in the jhuggies situated behind Manglam Apartments, Kotra.
- Two Wall Clocks given to Meenu Manovikas School village Chachiyawas.
- On the occasion of Deepawali festival, the members reached village Ghooghara and other slum areas and provided them with sweet packets, oil, diyas, crackers, pooja samagri. Clothes of their children were also given to them. More than 400 families were benefited.
- In the slum area nearby Makhupura, the club distributed blankets, sarees, new and old clothes along with fruits.
- The club has given the material of Rs. 31,000/- for the marriage of a girl from an economically weaker family of Pal Bichala. Similarly, financial aid of Rs. 21,000/- has been given for the marriage of a girl from an economically weaker family of Dadabadi.
- Lion Vandana Goyal distributed blankets to poor and needy persons on her birthday.
- One furnace used was given to Sita Gaushala, Ajmer.
- Republic Day was celebrated at Rail Udhyan, Ajmer. More than 200 people, along with students of Maa Sharda School, were there. Flag hosting was done by Lion Ajay Goyal, President.
Permanent Project
2 Cemented benches were installed at Rail Udhyan, Ajmer, by Lion Ramesh Tehlyani of Sukh Smaraddhi Builders.
Eye Donation
With the inspiration of Lion J.L. Agrawal and Lion Kamala Agrawal, 2 corneas were donated from their nephew Late Vinod Agrawal, who passed away at a very young age of 52 years.
